There will be official Presidential and Vice-Presidential debates starting at 8:30 PM via Zoom on May 21st.
Candidates in that debate will chosen using the procedure of tokens. On May 19th each credentialed delegate will be sent an email with their tokens and directions on how to give your token to your candidate of choice. The deadline for giving your tokens will be on May 21st at 5:30 PM.
On May 9th, 2020, the Libertarian National Committee (LNC) voted to reschedule the convention into a two-part convention. The first session will occur online starting on May 22nd for the purposes of nominating our candidates for President and Vice-President, to comply with ballot access deadlines.
The remaining portions of convention business will begin with check-in and pre-registration beginning the evening of July 7th, committee meetings and break-out sessions on July 8th, and business resuming on the morning of July 9th, and will go through July 12th, in Orlando, Florida, at a venue with enough contiguous space to provide for personal distancing. More information will become available in the near future as final details are finalized prior to signing the contract for the in-person portion of the business.
Thank you for your continued patience through these strange times.
